Below are instructions for applying for accreditation to cover the 2008 U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee. The tournament will be accepting credential applications this year electronically through http://www.pgatourgolfmedia.com.
If you have not previously registered on the site, you will be asked to do so. Once you have registered, you will be able to proceed through the application process. Click on the Credentials button on the left hand side of the screen and follow the instructions. If you have any problems with the website or making your request online please contact Denise Taylor of the PGA TOUR at 904-273-3311 or via email at DeniseTaylor@pgatourhq.com.
The U.S. Bank Championship will issue credentials to reporting personnel of recognized daily newspapers, wire services, magazines that regularly cover golf, national radio and television networks, local radio and television stations, and weekly newspapers if they are within the immediate coverage area of the tournament. Freelance writers and photographers can apply for credentials only through a recognized news agency. The U.S. Bank Championship reserves the right to refuse any application at its sole discretion.
Additionally, in accordance with PGA TOUR policy, a daily decal will be necessary to walk inside the gallery ropes. These decals will be issued by a member of the PGA TOUR staff in the media center on the tournament grounds. Photographers wishing to be granted access inside the ropes must have a camera with at least a 300mm lens. Photographic assistants will not be allowed inside the ropes. A limited number of credentials will be issued to photographers who must stay outside the gallery ropes. Please be advised that the type or number of credentials issued in the past to an organization is not an indication of the type or number of credentials that the same organization will receive in this or future years.
