The U.S. Bank Championship is a golf tournament with a mission. And you can help by simply attending the event.
Unlike any other professional sport, the PGA TOUR relies on unpaid volunteers and nearly all of its tournaments are structured as non-profit organizations, with 100% of net proceeds going to charity. Common beneficiaries include hospitals, youth development programs, food banks and organizations dedicated to growing the game of golf.
Birdies for Charity

For instance, last year, John Smith pledged $.01 per birdie. The PGA TOUR Pros at last year’s U.S. Bank Championship chipped in a total of 1,249 birdies. They also scored 25 eagles, which count for 2 birdies each. That means Mr. Smith’s total donation equaled $12.99.
| Donor Name | Pledge Amount | Birdies+Eagles | Total Donations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mr. Smith | $.01 per birdie | 1,249 + 50= 1,299 | $12.99 |

Raise the Grass Ceiling
Women’s golf is one of the fastest growing sports. And we’d like to help keep it that way. Raise the Grass Ceiling is an opportunity for women to participate in a PGA TOUR event and to encourage female golfers to participate in all levels of competitive golf.
This year, Raise the Grass Ceiling funds will benefit The First Tee Program, which teaches girls and boys to grow as individuals through values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship that are inherent in golf.
Register your foursome (including at least two women) for our event on June 26 at Brown Deer Park Golf Course. Email us at bill.hattendorf@usbankChampionship.com.
